Juno Website for YOOtheme Pro

Showtime for this month‘s release: Juno! Our June 2017 theme for Joomla and WordPress presents interior, architecture and furniture related content in 7 well-matched layouts. It comes with a bunch of new features from the latest YOOtheme Pro version 1.7, like the much anticipated Parallax effect as well as the Popover and Newsletter elements. All these are perfectly integrated into the light and modern style of Juno. The tiled layout and use of pastel colors make this release stand out.

Juno Style

Obviously, this theme comes with its own special style. Juno is characterized by a combination of pastel colored tiles, large background typography and a parallax scrolling effect on content elements. Interactive details, like sliding button animations, provide a great user experience. The bright, minimalistic and clean layout is perfect for presenting your company’s services or products.

Style

Parallax

The popular parallax feature from the latest UIkit release plays a leading role in this month’s theme. In Juno, content elements as well as backgrounds are animated with this dynamic effect.

Parallax

Popover element

In Juno we used the new Popover element to create showrooms for product presentations. You can position the marker wherever you want and the dropdown gives detailed information, for instance about products or projects.

Popover Element

Column Tiles

With this theme we decided to put particular emphasis on styling columns as tiles. Since YOOtheme Pro 1.4 you could build layout boxes with different background styles, just like cards, but without outside shadows. That way, you can easily create split-screen layouts by placing two columns seamlessly next to each other. Any element can be placed inside each of these tiles.

Tiles

Button effect

Juno also comes with a pretty nice button effect. Just hover over one button and its background color will slide over smoothly.

Button Effect

Newsletter element

This theme presents a much requested feature: The Newsletter element! From now on it will be a lot easier to keep your customers up to date about new products, projects or sales discounts.

Newsletter

Layouts & Topic

Juno features 7 new layouts dedicated to interior and architecture websites. The Home page provides previews of all page topics. The Products page provides an overview of the available furniture with a zipper parallax effect. The Products case study gives customers detailed information on a single product, including an introduction to the product’s designer, images with technical specs and a gallery of related products. The About page introduces team members in a grid layout. Furthermore, customers can find contact details, customer feedback and information about the company’s locations. The Projects page highlights some of the commissions Juno have executed for different clients. A Projects case study presents the story and behind scenes impressions of a single project. On the Pricing page you will find service packages, an ordering process description and the FAQ.

    2 questions..
When a widgetkit 3.0 version with new functions as carousel, a more powerful parallax and more?
Will be the possibility to integrate a widget directly with the page builder (without create a apposite joomla module )

    Great work yootheme!

      1. Yes carousel/slideshow is on our list. Will come to UIkit and then to Pro. We know it is important and we are working hard to have it ready soon!
      2. What do you mean "more powerful parallax"? Which options are you missing from the current parallax?
      3. Yes that is a good idea. We'll see if we can integrate something like this. But for now, using the Joomla module is the right way to do it.

      Thanks for your questions. :)

2 year ago we did a website of a boat rental company with the parallax of Gavick Template (yes... we used the gavick templates before to know your company :-) ) For... a more powerful parallax i mean a horizontal movement of every single object. Look for the whale at http://www.calagononegommoni.it and let me know please. Thank you.

Oh, you can already do that!

          1. In the Builder, click on the element you want to animate.
          2. On top of the element, click on the "Settings" link.
          3. Set "Animation" to be "Parallax". Then click on "Edit settings" to change the parallax settings.
          4. For your effect, set "Horizontal Offset Start = 0" and "Horizontal Offset End = 300" or something like that.
          5. You can do that for every single element. :)

I'm pretty sure you can create everything your need with these settings? Let me know how it goes. :)

Sorry i don't see how powerful it is... Yes it was that i searching for!!! I will try soon. I take advantage of your availability for another question. When you will improve a scroll lock connected to the anchor? As https://gist.github.com/barneycarroll/6550066 With the viewport for every section it cold be a nice effect

This would be for the team to decide, but personally, I am strongly against intervening with native scrolling behaviour using JavaScript. The risk for ruining the user experience is just too high in my opinion, and you should never take scrolling control away from the user. That being said, if there is a jQuery plugin, you should be able to integrate it on your own website. Don't see why it shouldn't work together with the theme. For more features request, please open a question in the support area, so that the blog can stay the blog. ;)

I have recently installed this using Joomla, love the style of it and can't wait to start working on it!

However, I cannot save changes on the website builder.

I'm able to save in layout, but as soon as I change anything in builder, the blue 'save page' button doesn't work - then I get a warning messaging saying I will loose changes if i exit the page.

Anyone know how to fix this?

This happens when you leave the builder open for a while without interacting. The joomla session expires in the background and the website builder starts to act weirdly. Just close the whole builder until you see the template styles page and re-enter the style, re-open the builder and everything should work fine.
