Saving ZOO item gives > 1139 Got error 'repetition-operator operand invalid' from regexp

Hi,

Adding a new item in ZOO suddenly gives this error >1139 Got error 'repetition-operator operand invalid' from regexp
Adding a title also doesn't finish

Joomla 3.7.2
ZOO 3.3.26

What could it be?

Raoul

Hi, You have to contact your host. It is a problem in the setting or version of the mysql database. That solved my problem.

Yes, the problem is that my hosting works fine.
Is in the clones I've installed in my SYNOLOGY NAS that does not work.

The issue is the following (it seems):
that "NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES" mode must be set to ON in the MySQL server configuration.
But to make things worse the SYNOLOGY uses a product called MARIADB 10 that works "over" the MySQL server.
So it seems is in the MARIADB SQL_MODE values WHERE
"NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES" HAS TO BE CHANGED TO ON.
As in https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/sql-mode/

The problem is that I have no interface for MariaDB in the SYNOLOGY NAS.
So I do not know how to access that conf file.

Is there anybody out there with JOOMLAS working on a SYNOLOGY as WebServer?

Thanks

Why do you want to have a clone local? I always install the clone or staging website on a subdomain and protect it with a password protected directory. In that case it is not accessible for public and the google bots and you can leave all settings untouched.

totoweb, Could you be so kind to ask them a brief explanation of what they did exactly?
I am trying but doesn't seems to work

In fact it is not a "local" clone because it works as a web server.
And it is highly convenient for me because it allows me to prototype and fork existing websites in a fast an easy way.

So think of it as a pre-production or development server with the added advantage that I have all the websites in the same place.

Aren`t you curious about what changes your ISP did to make it work?
