Same problem. 1.7.6 and I noticed the media folder, which is supposed to be created automatically, never gets created. So pro layout images have nowhere to save. Not sure if that helps. I did figure out a work-around. Select your Pro Layout. Save the layout, give it a name. Exit the builder, exit the entire Yootheme Pro. Go back in, now choose your saved layout. You should be able to save edits to it. At least most of the time. I've had it fail to save in this scenario as well. But it usually saves.

Was an work around for me. For WordPress.

  1. Choose an layout from library.
  2. In your library save the layout with any name.
  3. Cancel... because would not save.
  4. Choose from the library the layout you just save.
  5. Save it.

Worked for me.
Best luck.

We have been getting lots of JS errors same as you and not being able to save things with 1.7.5 rolled back to 1.7.4 and everything working again.

Yes I have... just tried it again and still no joy. It works with my layouts just not the PRO layouts.

This bug appears on multiple browsers, cache cleaned. Also reporting multiple times: builder rendering since 1.7.5 update is slow, so slow.

Yes cleared cache, also tried on a clean install and same issue. Reverting back to 1.7.4 resolved the issue.

I don't really want to revert back a version... I install this via a deployment system to 14 websites...

I need it fixed :(

Luckily it was on a dev server (tested before going live) and just uninstalled 1.7.5 and installed 1.7.4. I'm sure they will be fixing it soon as they are aware of it and its a pretty critical issue.

That's a solution Gabriel, works fine for me.
