Item-Based Elements
Display content in grids, galleries, sliders, slideshows and more, with flexible layouts and shared settings to style entire collections at once.
YOOtheme Pro comes with a collection of item-based elements for presenting posts, products, images, links and more. Manage related items within a single element and change the presentation of the entire collection at once with shared layout, style and behavior settings. These comprehensive options let you create completely different looks using the same element.
Grids present content in responsive card layouts, with masonry and animated filtering to organize larger collections of posts, products or projects. Galleries put images and videos at the center, with optional text overlays, smooth hover effects and a lightbox for exploring portfolios and visual collections.
Sliders display multiple items side by side in cards or as text overlays on images, letting users swipe through testimonials, featured products or recent posts. Slideshows focus on one image or video at a time, with smooth transitions, animated overlays and cinematic Ken Burns effects for prominent hero sections. Both can also advance through slides with scroll-driven animations, creating more immersive transitions as users move through the page.
Accordions keep longer content compact by letting users expand individual items, making them a natural fit for FAQs and other detailed information. Switchers organize related content such as product details, specifications and downloads into tabbed panels with text or thumbnail navigation.
Popovers turn images into something users can explore. Place markers on a product photo, floor plan or other visual to reveal popovers with text, images and links on click or hover. Maps display locations on Google Maps or OpenStreetMap with custom marker icons and informative popups for each place. For larger collections, nearby markers can automatically form clusters that expand as users zoom in.
Lists make features, benefits and other short information easy to scan, with icons, images or numbered markers. Description lists pair titles with supporting text and can also create classic restaurant menus with leaders and prices. Tables organize structured information into rows and columns, with headers, dividers and striped rows to make product specifications, schedules and other data easy to scan.
Buttons provide clear calls to action and can also open linked images and videos in a lightbox or display custom content in a modal or offcanvas dialog. Nav organizes links into vertical menus, while Subnav arranges them horizontally for more compact navigation. Socials displays images or icons as links, making it ideal for social profiles, external platforms or other visual navigation.
Adding content is just as flexible. Create items manually, duplicate them and drag them into order, or select multiple images and videos in the media manager to create several items at once. Connect a dynamic content source from Joomla, WordPress, WooCommerce or supported third-party integrations to populate items automatically and keep them up to date as the source content changes.
Each element offers its own layout, style and interaction options. Explore ready-made variations in the Element Preset Library and load them into your layouts with a click, then customize them to suit your content.
