One-Page Navigation with Smooth Scroll
Create a one-page navigation using anchor links which smoothly scroll to specific sections with automatic offsets for sticky headers and active states.
One-page navigations are perfect for single-page websites, landing pages, and category-based menus. Simply create menu links with URL fragments that point to matching IDs in the markup. When you click a link, the page smoothly scrolls to the corresponding section.
If the navbar is sticky, YOOtheme Pro automatically uses its height as a scroll offset, so it does not cover the target section. This even works when the target section changes position because of a scroll animation.
Navigation items automatically receive an active state based on the current scroll position. This works out of the box for any Joomla or WordPress menu, as well as all navigation elements in the page builder.
You can also create a fully automatic one-page navigation with dynamic content. Use alias fields in Joomla or slug fields in WordPress to generate SEO-friendly URL fragments. For example, map the category alias to a Nav element and to the ID field of a target headline. When you click a navigation item, the page jumps directly to the corresponding category. Best of all, the navigation updates automatically when a new category is added. No need to change anything in the layout.
