Create site-wide templates for posts, category and tag pages, search results, 404 pages and custom post types with the page builder and dynamic content.
In the Templates panel, you can create site-wide templates with the YOOtheme Pro page builder and manage them all in one place. Build reusable layouts for single posts, category and tag pages, author archives, search results, 404 pages and more.
Templates dynamically load the content of the page they are assigned to. A single post template displays the current post with all its fields, while a category template can show the current category with its fields together with the matching posts. This content can be loaded dynamically into any builder element, for example grids, galleries and sliders.
For sites with custom post types and taxonomies, you can create dedicated templates for all their pages. For example, build separate layouts for blog posts, movie reviews and recipe directories as well as all WooCommerce product pages.
Control exactly where each layout appears. Apply the template only to specific categories or tags and limit it by language or the page number, for example to show a featured post only on the first archive page. You can also set the number of posts per page for each archive template, giving you more flexibility to design layouts for different archive types.
Templates are grouped by page type, and the currently applied template is marked in the list with a small dot. Click any template, and its layout opens directly in the builder, while the page itself loads in the preview on the right.
