CSS Style Effects
Add advanced CSS effects with just a few clicks and create anything from minimal, glassmorphic and neumorphic to bold expressive designs.

Style is more than colors, typography and spacing. With YOOtheme Pro, you can add advanced visual effects to different UI elements without writing custom CSS and adjust them directly in the style customizer. This makes it easy to create anything from minimal and material designs to glassmorphic, neumorphic and bold brutalist styles.
For a clean, minimal look, add smooth line effects on hover to navbar items. Animate the line from the left or start in the center and expand it to both ends. Choose separate colors for hover, active and click states. Position the line at the top or bottom of the item, or even animate its height so it expands into a full background behind the text. For more consistency, use the line effect for sidebar and tab navigations, as well as text buttons.
For a more playful or material styles, add ripple effects to buttons, cards and other UI elements. On hover, a smooth color animation spreads across the element until it fully covers the surface. You can also add an expanding dot effect to sidebar navigation items and animate arrow icons across different UI components for a more dynamic feel.
For glassmorphic styles, add soft background blur and translucent surfaces to foreground UI components like sticky navbars, overlays, dropdowns, modal and offcanvas backdrops, creating a frosted-glass effect. Additionally, when hovering a navigation item, blur and fade its sibling items to match the style. For neumorphic or Soft UI styles, use subtle box shadows and highlighted edges to create raised or pressed surfaces, especially on white and light backgrounds. For dark styles, add glowing backlight effects with colored shadows using conic gradients to buttons, cards, navigations and other elements.
For bold and expressive styles, glitch and flicker effects add distortion and motion to buttons and navigation items. Combined with noise overlays and chromatic color shifts, they fit cyberpunk, digital grunge, brutalist and experimental styles.
Enable these effects directly in the style customizer with just a few clicks, without writing CSS, and mix and match them to create your own visual language. Or choose a prebuilt flat, material or skeuomorphic style from the Style Library, where matching effects are already applied across different UI components so the design feels complete from the start.
