Joomla Frontend Editing

Joomla frontend editing lets authorized users update articles directly on public-facing pages without opening the Joomla administration area. Once logged in, click the edit button on the page you want to change. In the editor, you can update the article content, metadata and custom fields. The entire interface adapts seamlessly to the selected YOOtheme Pro style.

You can also open YOOtheme Pro from the frontend to create an individual page builder layout or edit an existing one. Users with the Edit Templates permission see a YOOtheme button in the Joomla article editor. It opens the full YOOtheme Pro editor, where you can edit the current layout, navigate between pages and update other layouts. This also lets you work on unpublished articles or articles that are not linked in a menu. Users without the required permission see a notice that the page layout is locked.

This gives you a flexible editing workflow — from simple content updates to full control over YOOtheme Pro layouts.
