Joomla Frontend Editing

Joomla frontend editing lets authorized users update articles directly on the website without opening the Joomla administration area. YOOtheme Pro supports frontend editing for all articles, including pages built with the page builder.

Once logged in, click Joomla's Edit button on the page you want to change. You can update the article content and its custom fields directly from the frontend. YOOtheme Pro styles the whole editor interface, so every form and control blends seamlessly into the website.

On pages with an individual page builder layout, user permissions control access to YOOtheme Pro. Users with permission to edit template settings see a Builder button in the Joomla article editor. It opens the full YOOtheme Pro editor directly from the frontend, so they can edit the current page builder layout, move between pages, and update other layouts as well. This way you can even edit unpublished articles or articles that are not linked in the menu. Without that permission, users only see a notice that the page layout is locked.

This gives you a flexible editing workflow — from simple content updates to full control over YOOtheme Pro layouts.
