Multilingual Sites

YOOtheme Pro supports multilingual websites out of the box, whether you're using Joomla's native language system or WordPress plugins like Polylang or WPML.

The language switcher integrates seamlessly into your main navigation or any other menu on your site. The active language is shown as a parent item, with all available languages listed as submenu items. This way, the language switcher looks and behaves just like any other menu item and has the same options. For example, you can add a globe icon next to the active language. And if you're only using a few languages, you can hide the active language and show the full list side by side. Of course, you can also add the language switcher to the footer.

In Joomla, just use the URL menu item type and enter #language-switcher as the link to add a language switcher to your menu. In WordPress, Polylang and WPML have their own language switcher menu items. Just add one to your menu, and you're done.
