Position/Area Element

Use the Position/Area element to bring complete groups of system content into your builder layout. Instead of keeping sidebar, toolbar, or footer content tied to a fixed theme position, you can render the whole position exactly where it works best inside a page or template layout.

This is especially useful for multilingual websites or page-specific layouts, where the content can change but its position in the layout remains the same. And for content that should exist only inside builder layouts, use the dedicated builder-1 to builder-6 positions.

Because the element renders multiple modules or widgets at once, you can shape how they appear as a group. Display them side by side or stacked, adjust the column and row gaps, add dividers, choose the breakpoint where items should stack, and refine vertical alignment or matched heights.

If nothing in the selected position has output, the element collapses automatically. This keeps the layout flexible across different pages, permissions, and multilingual or page-specific content states.
