Search Ordering Element

Search results in Joomla are usually sorted by relevance, but sometimes, you would want more control. Simply add a Search Ordering element to your search page builder layout. It adds a button that opens a dropdown with all available sort options. Optionally, add a sort icon or display a parent icon to indicate the dropdown. It's a simple way to improve the overall search experience. Mind that you first have to create a hidden Smart Search menu item in Joomla and define the sort fields in the advanced settings.
