Sublayout Element

Build flexible nested layouts with rows, columns, and elements inside existing layout structures for more freedom in the page builder.

Sublayout Element

Sublayouts allow you to create nested layouts directly in the page builder. A sublayout contains rows, columns, and elements, but no sections, making it possible to nest rows and columns inside an existing layout structure.

This gives you more flexibility when building complex page layouts. For example, in a layout with a sidebar, you can use a Sublayout element to add additional columns inside the main content column.

The Sublayout element includes all general and advanced settings. Control the position of the entire layout, add parallax animation, and even assign a dynamic content source.

This unlocks powerful dynamic layout possibilities. Assign a multiple items source to the Sublayout element to repeat the entire sublayout dynamically. Elements inside the sublayout can then use this source as their parent source, allowing each repeated layout item to render its own related content.

This makes the Sublayout element especially useful for nested dynamic loops and advanced layouts that combine flexible structure with dynamic content.
