Subnav Element

Create lightweight sub-navigation with active states, icons, images, and dynamic content.

Subnav Element

Use the Subnav element to add a horizontal navigation directly to your layout, for example for category links, section jumps, or other filter-like link groups.

Style your navigation as divider, pill, or tabs and choose between a div or nav HTML element to match the semantic structure. You can also add icons or images to make the navigation more visual.

If you have many items, choose whether they should wrap into multiple lines or stay in one line. This is especially useful on smaller screens, where items that extend beyond the container are subtly faded out and can be scrolled horizontally.

Instead of adding items one by one, load items dynamically from your content source, including active states for menu items to create a fully functional menu.
