Showing woocommerce product prices in Widgetkit2 grid

Is it possible to show the actual product prices as part of the grid? If so, how? Thanks

Hello there,

please be a little more detailed since I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Do you want to show a specific product with the price? Or a list of the prices? Of all the prices?
As a general answer, until I know more about what you want, you can use woocommerce shortcode to display stuff. Go to woocommerce and take a look at this article: WooCommerce Shortcode
Copy those shortcodes and just fill it in your grid content.

Thanks. What I am trying to do is use the grid on Widgetkit to display the products and their product descriptions but also to show their prices in this grid. The standard implementation seems to exclude the prices

Okay, please use the shortcode provided by WooCommerce (the link I showed you in my last answer) and put it in the widgetkit content. After you did that please add the link to your website so I can take a look. I tested the following shortcode: [product id="99"] and it worked just fine. It showed the product, the description and everything else. So use that code and if you don't want everything to show and just a the picture and price for example tell me.

Thanks. I was hoping for something which would allow me not to have to put in each product by hand but which used the widgetkit/woocommerce inegration. I'm assuming what you are suggesting is creating a custom grid with items for each product?

Hello there,

since there is no price provider to display the price you'd have to code a new mapping. I asked the developer for help and when we know more I'll get back to you.
For now you either use my first suggestion or just wait until I can tell you more.

Is there any update on this? It seems like such a fundamental need it is hard to believe this isn't a frequently needed feature.

Yootheme is not updating Widgetkit anymore. They focus at Yootheme Pro.

Ofcourse everybody is missing the price in Widgetkit > Woocommerce > Grid.

Stupid, but it was better to fix the gap between Widgetkit (with Content Provider, no updates anymore) and Yootheme Pro (without Content Provider support).
