Say hello to Tech Space – our new theme package for YOOtheme Pro. Tech Space is a product catalog filled with 155+ demo posts. It also makes use of all features of YOOtheme Pro 2.0, dynamic content, custom fields and the template builder. A clean tiled layout gives it an organized look perfect for presenting different products. With its flat style, vibrant colors and heavy headlines Tech Space is perfect for a product catalog, ecommerce shop or any technology related website. Let's take a look.

Styles
Our new theme has a clean, flat style with a mix of outlined and plain buttons with slightly rounded borders. A vibrant primary color and thicker border contrast with a thin typography and a sans-serif font. They ensure good legibility, give the website a versatile look and make Tech Space a perfect fit for a product website.
Apart from the default style, Tech Space comes with 5 other style variations, each with a different beautiful color scheme. With a vibrant primary color, all Tech Space styles are bound to give a splash of color to any website. Choose the one that fits your needs best.

We also handcrafted icons that are very useful for any ecommerce website. Of course, you can change their color and use them with any style.
Content Types and Custom Fields
Tech Space comes with pages and templates for products filled with 155+ demo posts. In Joomla this content type is created by assigning custom fields to the Products category, while in WordPress Product custom post type is used. Unlike other themes, Tech Space has no blog pages.
Products
Tech Space products are organized in a two-level category hierarchy. There are 155+ products sorted into 8 main categories: Home Entertainment, Computers, Phones & Tablets, Cameras, Audio & Music, Gaming & VR, Wearables and Drones. Each category has up to 4 subcategories.
The first-level product categories have 13 custom fields which are dynamically mapped into the products category template.

Featured Products
Tech Space makes use of featured posts. They have a dedicated featured page Best Deals and are dynamically teased on the home page. Joomla offers Featured Articles out-of-the box, but we had to put an extra effort to find a way to transfer this functionality to WordPress. That's why we created an additional custom taxonomy called Flags. It's used for functional tags which should not be displayed visually together with the usual Tags taxonomy.
3rd Party Integrations
To get the same result in the WordPress and Joomla demo packages, we are using several 3rd party plugins. For more information on all pre-installed and activated plugins, take a look at the installation documentation for Joomla and WordPress.
Free Quality Stock Images
Tech Space comes with 160+ lovingly curated and free-to-use images. Take a look at some of them below. These images can be found in the Tech Space collection in the Unsplash library.
Important Notes
Currently, the Tech Space layouts are not available in the layout library. This is because their content is loaded dynamically, and most of the mapped custom fields, content sources or handpicked articles and categories will not be available in your installation. But we are working on a solution to convert these dynamic layouts to static layouts which we will add to the layout library.
