Beta Releases

YOOtheme Pro is available in two release channels: Stable and Beta. This lets you decide whether your site should only receive fully tested stable versions or also get early access to upcoming releases.

Stable releases are thoroughly tested by the YOOtheme Pro team and the community. They are the recommended choice for production sites and are automatically available through 1-click updates.

Beta releases are tested internally and made available before the next stable release. They include upcoming features, improvements and bug fixes, but may still contain issues that need broader real-world testing.

For developers, beta releases provide an early opportunity to test extensions, integrations and custom code with upcoming YOOtheme Pro versions. This makes it easier to adapt them to the latest API changes and ensure compatibility before the stable release. The community can also help test beta releases and report issues early, making the next stable release more reliable for everyone.

Beta releases are best tested on staging or development sites before being used in production. To switch 1-click updates to the Beta channel, set the Minimum Stability option from Stable to Beta in the Joomla Installer settings or directly in the YOOtheme Pro settings in WordPress.
