System Elements

With YOOtheme Pro, you can load WordPress or Joomla content into any page builder element using dynamic content. Dedicated system elements go further by bringing native WordPress or Joomla functionality directly into your layouts, from widgets and modules to menus, breadcrumbs, pagination, and search.

In WordPress, the Widget element renders an existing widget anywhere in your layout, while the Area element displays all widgets assigned to a widget area. Joomla provides the equivalent Module and Position elements. Arrange multiple widgets or modules side by side or stack them vertically. Elements without output on the current page collapse automatically, leaving no empty space.

The Menu element displays an existing WordPress or Joomla menu, or a taxonomy such as categories as a menu. Show its items as a multi-level sidebar menu, a collapsible accordion menu, or a horizontal dropdown menu.

The Breadcrumbs element shows users where they are in the site structure and makes deeper pages easier to navigate. The Pagination element adds previous/next or numeric navigation to single posts, archives like categories or tags, and search results pages. On single WordPress posts, you can limit previous/next navigation to posts from the same taxonomy term, while in Joomla it automatically moves through articles from the same category.

With the Search element you can add a customizable search input. Choose between default and large input styles, and add an optional search icon on the left or right. When placed on the right, the icon can also submit the search. In Joomla, there is also a Search Ordering element to sort results by relevance, date, or title. WordPress also has a Comments element, which displays comments on single posts and WooCommerce product reviews. For complete shop layouts, YOOtheme Pro also provides dedicated WooCommerce elements for product galleries, add-to-cart buttons, ratings, reviews, and more.

This keeps native CMS functionality within the visual workflow wherever your layouts need it.
