YOOtheme Launch Event and Community Day 2025 in Review
Wow, what an event! We've just returned from our YOOtheme Launch Event and Community Day 2025 — and it was bigger than ever. With more announcements, more speakers, more talks, and a record-breaking number of attendees, this year's event was truly our biggest yet. It was an incredible experience, and we can't wait to share the highlights with you!

Launch Event
We started the Launch Event with a huge announcement of YOOtheme Pro 5, showcasing all its features. The beta version is already available for testing, so if you can spare a few minutes, install it and let us know if you notice any issues. The more people test, the sooner the final version will be released.
And… we unveiled two upcoming theme packages for YOOtheme Pro. The first one is Oakville, which is the perfect starter kit for a content-rich municipality website with events, and another one is FC Greenfield – a sports club website with match schedules. They will be released right after YOOtheme Pro 5. We will show exclusive sneak peek videos soon, so keep an eye on our social media channels, so you don't miss a thing.
Community Day
This year's Community Day was even bigger than last year, and that's thanks to our amazing speakers!
We kicked things off with Niels Nübel from Kicktemp, who shared his insights on Extending YOOtheme Pro the Smart & Scalable Way. He was followed by Daniele Rosario from ZOOlanders with a deep dive into Advanced Integrations With Essentials for YOOtheme Pro. We even had a surprise! Miljan Aleksic, also from ZOOlanders, took the stage to announce an exciting new project — YOObox Beta. But that was not all, Elisa Foltyn from Coolcat Creations presented a talk on date filtering, Date. Data. Dynamics. Filter Events With YOOtheme Pro. Next, we had Michael Maass, whom many of you know from the YOOtheme support center, revealing Hidden Secrets and Common Mistakes in YOOtheme Pro. Our special guest, Claes Norin, from JPro Studio, in his session Building a Shop With YOOtheme Pro and Joomla showed how to set up our Woolberry theme as a Joomla shop. And to round things off, Dirk Heuser shared valuable Real-Life Insights from a Small Agency.
A huge thank you to all our speakers for their inspiring and insightful sessions. You made this year's Community Event a true highlight for everyone!
Community & Venue
This year, our event once again took place at the Astor Film Lounge. With a record number of attendees, all 115 seats in this beautiful movie theater sold out weeks in advance! We welcomed participants from 10 different countries, and about half were first-timers. It was fantastic to see so many young faces, alongside our most senior attendee at 80. Interestingly, nearly half of the audience were WordPress users. Meeting everyone in person, reconnecting, and receiving so much valuable feedback made it a truly special experience.
