Community Extensions Roundup 2024
Today we want to celebrate the amazing work of our developer community! Since the last extension roundup a year ago, more than 35 new extensions for YOOtheme Pro have been introduced. There are composable sources, bookmarks for articles, reusable sublayouts, GDPR consent overlays, Bluesky and LinkedIn sources, calendar and modal elements, PhocaCart and JReviews integrations and so much more. We now have over 155 free and commercial extensions on our YOOtheme Pro Extensions page! Let's see what's new!

Growing Ecosystem
Since launching the YOOtheme Pro Extensions page, our developer community has really grown. And it's amazing to see that each year we can welcome new developers with their extensions for YOOtheme Pro. But not just that, the established developers like ZOOlanders, Flart Studio, Kicktemp and Joomla Pro put so much effort into improving their extensions with new features making this a thriving and sustainable ecosystem which we are really proud of.

Let's start with ZOOlanders. Their popular Essentials for YOOtheme Pro extension has gotten even more powerful. Last year, they introduced composable sources, allowing you to load fields from different content sources and mix them with text within a single content field of an element. And with dynamic query arguments, you can use dynamic content for the filter and start and quantity options when defining custom sources. They also just released a free J2Commerce Integration that allows you to design a J2Commerce shop, previously J2Store, with the YOOtheme Pro page builder. On top of that, their source manager has been expanded with Bluesky, LinkedIn, Mailchimp Audience, Google Calendar, Google Photos and Airtable content sources. And their icon collection now also includes icons from the CoreUI, Phospor Icons and Pixelarticons. These updates give you so many possibilities for your YOOtheme Pro website!

Next up is Kicktemp. They bundled all their existing YOOtheme extensions into a comprehensive package — the new Kick YOOaddons plugin. It includes 17 YOOtheme Pro elements, 6 of which are brand new. Add favorite buttons to allow users to bookmark articles, integrate HubSpot forms into your page, create a user-interactive navigation with modal dialogs, display Loom videos, add a grid counter and show a popup image on page load. With its wide range of features, the Kick YOOaddons plugin is one of the biggest toolkits for YOOtheme Pro.

Flart Studio
Flart Studio has released five new elements. Create any builder layout and display it in a modal window or an offcanvas sidebar, or toggle its visibility with a button. Also, show content in a marquee with an infinite slider functionality. Add YouTube and Vimeo videos according to the GDPR by preventing them from being loaded until the poster image is clicked. But that's not all, the popular Grid Pro, Switcher Pro and Table Pro elements now also support sublayouts, modal builder, and lightbox gallery. All elements are really powerful, so definitely check them out!

EasyLayouts
We're also happy to introduce a newcomer to our Extensions page. With EasyLayouts extensions you can reuse sublayouts across different pages and create an overall wrapper layout which applies around any template. Any changes in the sublayout or the wrapper template will apply anywhere they are used. And you can now limit template assignment by menu items, for example, to apply different layouts for two menu items linking to the same category. Save different versions of template layouts and lock them to prevent users without permissions from editing the layout.

ruhe.potential
ruhe.potential added two new extensions for YOOtheme Pro. First, use overlays to inform your visitors about external services like Google Maps, OpenStreetMaps, YouTube, Vimeo and more and request their consent before loading. Second, add the Google Tag Manager to your website without changing any code and load it GDPR-compliant only after the consent is given.

Joomla Pro
Next, Joomla Pro has released three extensions to enhance your Joomla websites. With their Phoca Cart integration you can design a Phoca Cart shop with YOOtheme Pro. They also created an extension to add complex multi-level menus to page layouts. Finally, you can display alert messages at the top of your website.

DJ Extensions
DJ Extensions released three new elements for YOOtheme Pro. You can generate a table of contents from the content headlines with a progress bar at the top, display your data in animated charts and create QR codes for your website.

Also, there are two new elements by Modern Designs. One is another QR Code element, and the second one is a fun Confetti element. They are all free, so make sure to check them out!

jReviews
Next addition is an integration for the popular jReviews extension for Joomla. Now all jReviews pages can be designed with the YOOtheme Pro builder. You can create templates for all listings with 6 dedicated elements, and load listings as a custom source.

More Developers, More Extensions
But there is more! Coolcat Creations offers a Calendar element to show full-day events or display the availability of bookable assets where users can select dates and submit request to a 3rd-party form extension. With Greif.bar Vivus.js element you can animate SVGs with the Vivus JavaScript library. And finally, you can add a customizable AI Chat with ChatGPT to any page on your website with an extension from WebLab Studio. Pretty cool, right?
