WordCamp Europe 2026 in Review
From June 4–6, the YOOtheme team joined WordCamp Europe 2026 in Krakow, Poland. It's the biggest WordPress event in Europe with almost 2.5k attendees. Here is a short recap and, since it has been a while, a small update on what we have been working on. Let's go.

Team Event in Krakow
Before WordCamp Europe kicked off, we spent a few days in Krakow exploring the city, visiting the salt mines, and enjoying the local cuisine. Here are a few photos from our getaway.
WordCamp Europe Highlights
WordCamp Europe 2026 was a huge event, bringing nearly 2,500 attendees from 81 countries to the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. Spread across three main conference levels, there were so many talks and workshops covering everything from development and AI to business and the open web. The whole event was really well organized, with great food and an impressive venue, which was constantly buzzing with people and conversations. We also had plenty of opportunities to meet people from the community, including many YOOtheme users. One particularly lovely surprise was meeting Elisa Foltyn, the new President of Open Source Matters, the organization behind Joomla!
Next Is Joomla World Conference 2026
A few months have passed since WordCamp Europe, and a lot has been happening behind the scenes since then. AI is opening up entirely new possibilities for developers and software products, and we've been exploring what that means for YOOtheme.
We don't want to reveal too much just yet, but at the Joomla World Conference 2026, we'll share a first look at the role of AI in YOOtheme Pro and our vision for the next generation of YOOtheme Pro framework.
