Stage Theme

The December 2014 Theme, Stage, stands out with a framed page layout, various fullscreen positions and a Smoothscroll navigation, making it a great base for one page websites.

Stage provides an optional framed page layout to give your website a very sophisticated look, emphasized through the use of elegant typography. If the frame is turned off, the navbar will remain fixed to the top of the page with the logo centered between the menu items.

Three fullscreen positions for background images as well as the option to extend other positions to fill the entire viewport give your content plenty of space. Additionally, you can apply three different background colors to these sections. The blog styling offers a lot of flexibility, allowing you to center content and to box articles. These styles can be combined as you like and be assigned to different layouts.

  • Framed page layout
  • Fullscreen positions
  • Centered and fixed navbar
  • Smoothscroll navigation
  • 8 pre-built style variations
  • Easy customizer and LESS integration
  • Based on UIkit and Warp framework
  • Woocommerce support
  • Widgetkit bonus styles

I hate to agree with the haters, but this really isn't a whole lot different than if I took Moustache and Nite, bought them a bottle of cheap wine and left them alone in the room for too long.

Guys, innovate, don't just rehash and recycle. I liked Katana, but I'm starting to feel that I like the stock photos you use in the fullscreen position more than the actual template.

Give me a good reason to keep paying my subscription guys.

It would be nice to see gradients, depth, curves and shape brought back like sync, catalyst, nano.

This flat windows 8 style gets rather boring, The day of unique styles that define the web are over all replaced with flat square UI.

The theme has nice features though.

We totally get what you mean. However, right now the current trend leans towards flat, minimalistic UI. Let’s hope that a bit more variety will enter modern web design soon ;)

Lol, thats funny you call it the current "trend"., for a template designer its a bit weird being innovative and at the same time design templates with a "trend" in mind..

The theme is OK but I think light on features. OK it has a framed full page view and 3 fullscreen positions. But fullscreen positions take 5 mins to add to any yootheme template. I also think the header fonts look horrible - not what you want to see on the web.

But I'm sure it will work for some.

I do like this one. yes its like "nite" but different. The smooth scroll stands out now giving you a perfect Framed one page design. Together with UIkit and Warp 7 you should have enough to make it your own. Bizarre how some of you want more ready made stuff and complain about lack of originality. I think yootheme does a nice job in teaching us how to use their tools UIkit and Warp and encourages us to be creative. Perhaps the lack of creativity is not with yoo but with ...

Exactly. The possibilities with this theme are pretty much endless.

I agree, you do need some great content (images, videos, etc.) for this theme to really work for you - so this template might not be for everyone. But if you're building a site for a photographer, interior designer, architect, etc. - this theme is brilliant.

Nice job on this one, team!

I think on the whole the templates are usually styled very well. My big bugbear is the inconsistency between native Joomla, UIKIT and template elements.

If certain support staff had better attitudes than this: http://yootheme.com/support/question/73955

it wouldn't be an issue of course.

I like the box enclosed feeling but I miss the difference on the previous design were the menu was on the left side.

Could the sliding of the sections be sideways like in your first theeme? remember?.... portfolio.

The menu seems difficult to use on a large site .....

Going in the right direction although....

The FrontPage is Wow! The full width and border are nice.
But the others pages, back to a smaller wrapper :( I'd like to see full width everywhere, with real sections of content. It's not for every type of website, but thats something different.

troy.smith.24 : I agree, some gradients and others "no-flat-style" would be great some times.

juliengrano : Yes a more text-content template would be great !

Ok, this was easy copy paste but it says it all, from 3 years ago:

    Consider the buyer’s experience?

People are going to be buying your products because they want to save time designing and coding the same stuff themselves. But until you put yourself in their shoes, it’s hard to understand how you can improve their experience with your product.

You don’t need expensive market analysis to get a little insight, though. Try using your own product the way a buyer might. Unzip it yourself, try to customise it, or hand it off to another web designer to see if it works for them.

    Support your products!

Okay, your product is released... now what? Chances are very high that early buyers are going to discover bugs that need squashing. Give them a chance and they’ll also provide quality feedback for how you can improve your product with additional features or smarter workflows.

Supporting your products isn’t just about taking care of customers. It can ultimately lead to healthy sales for months and years to come, which is why you started this in the first place, isn’t it?

Don't get me wrong, yoour stuff is great but it can't be that a bug report on your latest stage theme stays unreplied for 15 days.

And i consider non working uk-animation uk-scrollspy etc classes on mobile devices quite a bug ...!
