Today we are happy to present our new October theme District. It is an artisan café and bakery with a clean and modern design. With its 9 layouts, 6 beautiful and distinct styles and free-to-use images, District would be a perfect choice for your café, bakery, restaurant or other gastronomy related website. Let’s take a look.

District Style

District has a minimalistic black and white style with pastel-colored contrast. Large bold typography attracts the attention of your users to the important sections of your website. Colored tiles of a pastel rosy color and cut out images on a white background give it a soft touch and accentuate the essence of the bakery even more. With its minimalist look, dark straight lines, and classic colors District would be a great choice for any business website.

Layouts & Topic

Our October theme brings you 9 layouts. The Home page briefly introduces the bakery, its products, services and team. The main feature is a nice looking Slider that shows a selection of baked goods. As the name suggests, the Products page displays a variety of products offered by the bakery. You can filter them by the category and open up a clean, white lightbox. The obligatory Menu page is not missing as well. Gallery page features another variant of a Slider element that you can use to present your images. District also has a Catering page. The bakery's history and values can be found on the About page. You will also find the Team page with open positions and images of the team. Contact will give you information about the bakery's location and opening hours. You can find an Imprint page with owner's name and contact information in the footer. As you can see, District has absolutely everything you need for your bakery, café or other related website.

YOOtheme Pro Updates

This theme already makes use of a couple of features that we planned for the next YOOtheme Pro 1.16 release. These are the aforementioned vertical alignment and improved column settings. Additionally, the Map Element has a new width setting, which makes it behave like a responsive image. There is tons of other new features for YOOtheme Pro 1.16. The release is scheduled for the end of the month, so you will find a more detailed overview in a dedicated blog post.
