Themes 2.0 Updates with 60+ New Page Builder Layouts
Today, all our 33 theme packages for YOOtheme Pro received a huge update which we've been working on the last months. We completely reworked and optimized all theme packages, so they make use of dynamic content and all the latest features of YOOtheme Pro. All blog and post pages are now templated with the page builder, so there are over 60 new layouts in the layout library. In addition, all existing 260+ page and footer layouts are reworked using the latest layout options and much more. Some theme packages even got a completely new content structure with custom fields and templates for their category and post pages. So now you have tons of new layouts for your dynamic websites. 60+ New Blog Layouts
Before YOOtheme Pro 2.0 there were only limited layout options for the blog. Now you can use the YOOtheme Pro page builder to create templates for the blog and post pages. That's why we completely redesigned the blog for all YOOtheme Pro theme packages we've built so far! The 60+ new index and post layouts take full advantage of the page builder and give you a lot more diversity. Just load your favorite layout from the layout library, map your fields and enjoy the full power of dynamic content in your YOOtheme Pro site.

260+ Layouts Updated
We reworked over 260 existing page and footer layouts. They now make use of the new advanced row and column options we introduced with YOOtheme Pro 2.1, in particular for 5-column layouts and different gap sizes. They also use the improved visibility setting which allows you to hide elements. We also optimized all heading outlines providing you with an optimal HTML structure for SEO. In addition, we added a tiny JavaScript to all footer layouts which shows the current year right besides the copyright information, so there is no need to update it manually every year. Of course, all layouts can be found in the layout library and loaded into your site with just a click.
Demo Content
All theme packages received new demo content. We added many blog posts with new images that you can find in the updated YOOtheme collections in the Unsplash image library. Blog posts shown on other pages, like the home page, are now loaded using dynamic content. In some cases we even added custom fields for the post and the user.
Balou, Yoko and Fjord Rebuilt
Three theme packages used static layouts for pages where they should load dynamic content instead – Balou, Yoko and Fjord. That's why we rethought their content structure just like we do with new theme packages which make extensive use of dynamic content. They now have additional post types with custom fields and templates for their category and post pages. Let's go through them one by one.
Balou - The E-commerce Shop
The Balou theme package is an E-commerce shop and comes with an additional Product content type and 3 templates.

Products are organized in a one-level category hierarchy. Altogether there are 26 products sorted into 5 categories. The Product content type has 21 custom fields. This includes teaser fields of the product, product images, description, delivery information and more.

The Yoko theme package is a lifestyle magazine. Its default Post content type got extended with custom fields and comes with 4 templates in addition to the Index and Post templates.

We want all our theme packages to be the perfect starter kit for your projects which is why we put so much work into continuously maintaining and improving them. It's the quality we care about! So altogether there are now over 320 top-notch page layouts in the layout library.
