Load core and custom fields from any post type or taxonomy into builder elements to create content-driven directory websites.
YOOtheme Pro lets you load content fields from Joomla, WordPress, WooCommerce, and other sources dynamically into your layouts. Display core fields like title and image, or custom fields created with Joomla, or ACF and Toolset in WordPress in any builder element. All field types are supported, whether they are set on a post, category, tag, user, WooCommerce product, or even custom post type and taxonomy.
Loop through a repeatable set of fields to create dynamic layouts. For example, display a list of links with their titles, or show map items with coordinates, titles, and images. In Joomla, repeatable fields can be created with the Subform field. In WordPress, use the ACF Repeater field.
You can also access fields from related content. For example, display the location on an event page and show a list of upcoming events on the corresponding location page. In Joomla, create relationships between content types using the Articles Field from Regular Labs. In WordPress, use the Post Object and Relationship fields from ACF, or the Post Reference field from Toolset.
Each content field includes additional options to transform its output. For example, transform text, limit the content length, select a date format, or perform search and replace on any content.
By loading custom fields from custom post types and taxonomies into your layouts, you can create content-driven directories for movies, recipes, events, and more with the page builder and dynamic content.
