Display Conditions

Use conditional logic to show or hide layout parts based on dynamic content, user state or page context.

Display Conditions

YOOtheme Pro can load content from Joomla, WordPress, or any other dynamic content source directly into your layouts. With conditional logic, you can show or hide parts of the layout depending on the loaded content. For example, hide a related posts headline when there are no related posts, or display an additional section only when a specific custom field has content.

Conditions can check whether a value is empty, compare text, detect whether it contains, starts with, or ends with a specific string, or match a regular expression for more advanced logic.

You can also adapt layouts to the current user or page context. Show a call-to-action only for guests, add member-specific content for logged-in users, or display different headlines when a category page is filtered, sorted, or matched by a specific URL pattern.

For more advanced layouts, conditions can also be used inside dynamic loops. For example, hide a repeated separator for the last item, or filter items by post type to display them separately in the live search.
