Custom Sources
Display posts, categories and any other content dynamically anywhere on your site, with flexible filters to show exactly what you need.
In YOOtheme Pro, layouts can dynamically load content from the current page, for example to show all posts on a blog page. With custom sources, you can display content from any other page instead, such as teasing the latest posts on the home page.
Choose from any content in Joomla or WordPress, not just posts. Load categories, tags, users, menu items, WooCommerce content, custom post types, custom taxonomies, and more.
Select posts manually or use filters to define exactly which items are shown. Filter posts by categories, tags, users, or custom taxonomies, and choose whether to match at least one term, all terms, or none of the terms. When filtering by category, you can also include posts from child categories.
For each custom source, limit the number of items and sort them by date, title, or any custom field.
You can also filter posts by any date field, including custom fields. This makes it easy to show upcoming events, past matches, movies from a specific year, and other date-driven content.
