ZOO 2.4 Stable – Public release of ZOO for Joomla 1.5 and 1.6

Today we are excited to announce that ZOO 2.4 is stable now! As always a big thank you to all of our BETA testers! ZOO 2.4 is now available to the public for free. The new release is all about making ZOO Joomla 1.6 compliant. An Event system, Email notifications, Speed improvements: Make sure to read about its new Features in our previous blog post.

Important - What about the tools?

For the Joomla 1.5 version of the release, we've decided to add the old ZOO tools. This will make upgrading a lot easier for you guys. If you are running Joomla 1.6, you need to be patient a little while longer. This is due to the fact, that we won't be porting our old ZOO tools to Joomla's new MooTools version 1.3. Of course, we are working hard on a replacement for our old Tools. Unfortunately it will take longer than expected. We know you all are eagerly waiting for the new tools... We hope to have a BETA version ready as early as the end of next week.
