ZOO 2.5 Stable – Goodbye ZOOtools, hello Widgetkit

Today we are excited to announce that ZOO 2.5 is stable now! As always a big thank you to all of our BETA testers! ZOO 2.5 is now available to the public for free. The new release is about integrating ZOO with our upcoming Widgetkit and a much improved item ordering: Make sure to read about its new Features in our previous blog post.

Important Upgrade Information

We have spent some time to improve the upgrade path, so upgrading should be easier. Please make sure to back up prior to the upgrade. Keep in mind that once you've upgraded, you won't be able to downgrade again without a backup. As stated above, the ZOOtools will be removed by this update. Please also make sure to install the latest Widgetkit version (BETA16 or higher)! Where applicable the Video element will be converted to the new Media element by this update.
