Our last theme this year may inspire you to list "adventures" among your New Year's resolutions. Trek is a bikepacking theme that comes with a lot of new features from YOOtheme Pro 1.17, a rich design with vibrant colors and textures. It is a perfect theme for sport, adventure or travel related websites. Let's dive right in.

Trek Style

Trek has a unique skeuomorphic style with bold typography and different textures that give the theme a natural and authentic look and feel. The style is even more enhanced thanks to the rough edges and section overlaps. Trek combines classic and vibrant colors which perfectly fit the outdoor sport topic.

Trek comes with 6 different styles. From reserved and light colors to bold and eye-catching ones, our new theme has everything. Choose the one that suits your website best.

For our December theme we have created a specific section overlap image that ensures an interesting transition and perfectly fits the overall look of the website.

Section Expand

As already mentioned, Trek makes use of a lot of features from the YOOtheme Pro 1.17 release. One of them is a Section Expand option that allows you to expand one side of the section while preserving the max width of the other side.

Box Decorations

Another great feature that we introduced in our last YOOtheme Pro release is the box decoration. Trek has 3 different box decorations that you can use to style your images and videos.

Mask

Trek also has a specific mask that makes images and videos fit the topic even better. Instead of sharp edges, the mask uses patterns that correspond to other features such as section overlap and create a coherent style.

Handmade Illustrations and Icons

In our December theme we used a lot of handcrafted SVG illustrations designed specifically for this theme. They perfectly fit the topic and can be styled with CSS to look great with all styles. We also added a few more clean custom-made icons that you can use for your website.

Layouts & Topic

Trek is a bikepacking website with 7 different layouts. The Home page introduces the website, its topic and pages. Routes is a portfolio page that features a nice popover element. Trans Alps Adventure includes custom made icons and illustrations and is a great example of a case study page. An about page Tips has a few characteristic features. Here you will find an expanded to one side slider and a complex hand-made illustration with the popover element. There is another portfolio page Gear, which is a perfect choice for presentation of services or products. Velvø Touring Bike shows an example of a product review on the website. Finally, the gallery page Events displays the hosted events. As you can see, Trek has all you need for a travel themed website.
